Behind the Scenes – December Buy Runescape Money

Achievement diary antics, elegant accents, delving into dungeons, and dashing hairdos are due during December. But what’s all that mean?

In our first update of the month, you’ll be asked to return to Falador, where the fourth Achievement Diary will be waiting for you. With Falador being such a familiar area, you can be sure that some tasks will be straightforward, but there are challenges, too. Are you capable of slaying a skeletal wyvern? Have you encountered the vast mole beneath Wyson’s flowers? Rewards will include brand new white lily seeds and a shiny new emote.

Once you’ve done that little lot, your next step will be a watery one, as you cross the Fremennik Province and the islands beyond for their Achievement Diary. No doubt Baba Yaga and her Lunar friends will have several tasks for the higher levels, but pet rocks, seaweed and Slayer caves await those slightly less familiar with the Fremennik ways. Rewards will include enhanced resource collection for your Etceterian workers, improved lyres, and a potential 20k experience reward lamp.

As we mentioned in the news post towards the end of last month, we will be making further changes to the reward items associated with Stealing Creation. We will make the rewards far more appealing and easier to use; actually doubling the experience you earn from any of the activities you use your reward objects for, including the combat ones! If you need more information about the changes to Stealing Creation, please read this news post.

Since our graphical update earlier in the year, we’ve been playing around with a variety of new haircuts for the game. We’ve now gathered around 20 new styles and will be releasing them during December to the free and members’ games. These new hairdos include some rather interesting styles inspired by Ak-Haranu, a visitor from the unexplored eastern realms. Perhaps next year will unearth more fashions from these interesting folk? Only time will tell…

You might stumble across some new words if you’re planning to try out any of the French Servers, planned for launch in December. Completely translated into French, we hope that many of you will be finding a new home here, or even just popping in to see what everything’s like en franais.

Finally this month, we will be opening the gates to festive cheer and wintry celebrations with this year’s Christmas update. Much like this year’s Hallowe’en, we’ve decided to release a quest at the same time as our Christmas event, which means that the free game will have access to that quest over the Christmas period.

During the event, you’ll be asked to track down Jack Frost, the misunderstood son of the Queen of Snow. Apparently, he loves icing things up and has been known to freeze even the warmest of Christmases. Of course, many of you will know all about what we have planned after voting in the Guaranteed Content Christmas poll we ran earlier this year, so expect Santa suits and even a chilly new necklace to show off with.

For the quest, Explorer Jack will have a tale - a tale of fearsome creatures and bountiful riches. Sadly, the best of his adventuring days are behind him, so he’ll need one of those adventuring sorts to stride out bravely into the icy wastelands. I wonder if he’ll be able to find one? In this quest, it won’t be your equipment that helps you trek through the caves, but a keen eye to work out the fiendishly cavernous puzzles. Higher levelled players will find extra rewards hidden within those puzzles, so be prepared.

Runescape 3

Runescape 3
You may not know it but the Runescape game that you play today is actually called Runescape 2. WHAT?! I hear you say. Yes, its true, the Runescape youve been playing is really the second version of the game. So what was the first version of the game? Runescape Classic. To find out about Runescape Classic please read the Runescape Classic article. Runescape 2 is the 3D version of the game, as Classic was 2D. More skills were introduced in Runescape 2 and more places, items, monsters and people have been added.

Jagex Plans for Runescape 3 or Runescape 3 Beta
Would you like to play on Runescape 3 or Runescape 3 Beta? Well, Im sorry to say that there is no such thing. You may see claims that you can try out Runescape 3 on a Runescape 3 Beta website, I can only tell you to not sign onto these or bother looking into them at all, these are all Runescape scam sites and often contain viruses. These scam sites can steal your Runescape account and many thousands of people have had their accounts stolen from sites claiming to be Runescape 3.

If there were to be a Runescape 3 Beta website then Jagex would post this on the home page of the official Runescape website.

The Possibility of there Being a Runescape 3 in the Future
To be perfectly honest there is probably a high chance that there will be a Runescape 3 in the future. I know that Jagex says that there are no plans for a Runescape 3, but I find it hard to believe that over the next 2 to 5 years there wont be dramatic changes/advancements in game engine technology that wont warrant a significant and dramatic change to the game that will be class as an entirely new version of the game.

Improvements That Might Be Included in a Runescape 3 Realese
If Runescape 3 was ever released I expect that Jagex would possibly give the places a sleeker look, along with the items, monsters, and players. Another excellent improvement would be that if the dragons would perhaps hover over the floor and look like their wings are flapping slowly to give the effect that the dragon was flying. IT would be most likely that a a compelte gaming engine overhaul will mainly be focussed around the idea of improved game performance more so than changes in the style of play itself, though like the upgrade from Runescape Classic to Runescape 2 there may well be a revision of the gameplay.

Im sure a lot of people will fantasise over many things that could be improved on, so Ill leave it at that.

Will Runescape Become like other MMORPGs such as WoW
Does Runescape need to be put onto CDs and be installed on computers rather than constantly downloaded? The answer from a lot of players is YES! Many people think that Runescape should follow in the footsteps of WoW and other such MMORPGs, but is there anything else to it other than burning the files to a CD and distributing it to shops all over the country, the answer again is yes. It would cost Jagex millions to provide a CD version of the game, but it is doubtful that they wouldnt make the money back over a short period of time.

Runescape 3 Being Played on other Gaming Platforms like Playstation or Nintendo Wii
There have already been discussion between Jagex and other gaming platform operators about the potential for porting Runescape to a console game, and considering that many console gaming machines are more frequently incorporating internet access it seems like a logical step for Runescape to venture into the console gaming market. I think that if Jagex offered this then Runescape would really send Runescape mainstream.

Anyway for the time being we must be happy with the current Runescape 2 version of the game, but I expect that in the coming couple of years that Jagex will make a revolutionary change to the game whether it be the gaming engine used, the style of game play or the medium which the game is played on that will warrant the upgrade to Runescape 3 status.

Popular Runescape Autos – Auto Fighter, Talker, Miner, Clicker, Cutter

Popular Runescape Autos Auto Fighter, Talker, Miner, Clicker, Cutter
Runescape auto bots or marcos are programs created to assist in a range of jobs in a game that would originally be in the control of the gamer they are useful tools but are considered cheating in most games and the users of these programs are frowned upon by most but still these programs are an entrenched part of any game these days.

In Runescape there are many different skills you can raise your levels in. There are also just as many macros that can assist you in raising these levels. Most Runescape players who use Runescape autos (Autobots) are as stated in the above paragraph frowned upon by the Runescape society because the use of autos is against the rules and because often the auto bots will be competing against regular playing users for precious resources.

You may find many Runescape cheating websites with autos for download, but if you’re considering using one you must be very careful on what exactly you are downloading. This is because of scammers get many unsuspecting Runescape player to download what they believed was a Runescape auto bot but in actual fact they are just downloading a key logger to scam people out of their Runescape names and password. When you use this program it collects your Runescape name and password sends this information to their email so they can gain access to your Runescape account.

There are sites out there that are some websites that do offer real macros but in respect for the rules of the game we wont be listing them here. Nonetheless if you do find a site offering auto programs make sure you run a quick scan on them first before using them. Here are some of the popular Runescape autos in use at the moment:

Runescape Autofighter
Now there are 2 versions of Runescape autofighter, there is version A and version B and as to which one you choose to download depends on the speed of your computer. Version A is the best version and is only made to work with computers with high CPU and RAM. While Auto fighter version B is for slower computers. This is a program that runs on a color system. This is where you must choose a color on the monster you wish to fight and as a program this auto choose to fight all things that have that color on them. That is where its downside is as you may have chosen a common color brown on a goblin; well the trees are also brown so the macro may choose the tree as the object to fight.

Another good/bad thing about the macros is if you have food you can make a setting to where the macros makes you eat after you are down so in health past a certain point. You may change when the macros makes you eat but you must have the food in your inventory and the auto also will allow you to set a certain amount of life for when you run out of food where it will log you out and this is good if you just won a fight but remember that the rule of you having to wait 10 seconds before you’re able to log out after a battle. So this doesnt make it that useful in some ways.

Runescape Cruel Miner
This auto, if you haven’t guessed, is used to raise your mining level. It also involves a color system where you take the indicator and place it on the kind of rock you wish to mine. But this auto only mines the ore then drops it all, this auto does not put the ore in the bank for you. Because of this reason this macro is mainly for leveling not banking and making money.

Runescape Autotalker XPro17
This macro is actually a very useful one to have, it allows you to type something in it and add the color or scroll effects if you like and this auto will say what ever has been typed into it repeatedly until you stop it. This is a very useful way of sell items in the crowed worlds on Runescape. Though this is now probably becoming outdated considering the recent introduction of the Grand Exchange.

Scythe’s Autobuyer
This auto allows you to use another color program to buy all of a certain item of that color you have chosen, that is sold to a store. This could be another useful macro unless as stated in autofighter, it chooses from a color so you have to be careful not to use a common color for this macro other wise it could waste your hard earned money on some item you didnt want.

Auto Clicker
This macro allows you to place it on a certain area and set how many times it will click on this area per minute. This might be useful in mining but the user would have to come back eventually to deposit or drop the ore.

Runescape Magic Cheats
This auto allows you to train your magic but only by teleporting. So in order to use this macro you need to have all the runes necessary for teleporting to the area you want. This macro is a waste I believe unless you have the cash then this is only saving you a couple of clicks you could do yourself in my honest opinion.

Mouse Recorder/Player
This is an interesting macro as it allows you to in a way create your own Auto. What this macro does is records your mouse movements until you stop it and it then repeats the movements and clicks over and over for you. I do suggest if you are using the macro do not move your camera position as it will change where the macro clicks.

S.C.A.R.
This is actually a program that allows you to create your own Autos, but in order to use this program you must first have some concept of understanding of how to create a macro. This can be a very useful program but requires a lot of knowledge as to how to create macros. You may also use other peoples macro files if you can find them, with this program.

I have only named a few autos that I found that work well or ok and have been scanned to be found as true macros and not keyloggers. There are many more macros out there that I will research more on for all macro users but I still state again that I believe is wrong to use macros and that I am against the use of them but it is obvious they are a very popular topic of discussion when it comes to Runescape.

Runescape Pking

Runescape Pking
One of the most interesting and possibly the best aspect of Runescapes game play is its wilderness section and Runescape Pking. So what is Runescape Pking? Well Pking stands for Player Killing. So basically its where you enter the Runescape wilderness and attempt to kill other Runescape players. This of course is much more interesting that killing the regular NPC monsters of Runescape because you are fighting a living, thinking and creative person on the other side.

Runescape Pking Tips Wilderness Basics
So are there any pking tips one should know before they go pking? Well I guess the obvious thing to mention is the stronger you are the harder you are to kill and therefore it is in your interests to be as strong as you can when you are looking to fight in the wilderness. Does this mean that you need to be level 126 before you enter the wilderness? Of course not. There are players of all level wondering around the wilderness, and one of the interesting things about the wilderness and Runescape pking is that not just anyone can attack anyone in the wilderness.

Basically the wilderness is divided up in to levels, in free to play its levels 1 through to 50, and for each levels of wilderness people that can attack you and that you can attack must be within that level of wilderness of your combat level. So if a level 70 player was in level 14 wilderness they could attack or be attacked by any player that had a combat from 56 through to 84. Obviously the deeper you go the greater the range of players you can attack or be attacked by, this is something that should definitely be weighed up before traveling too deep into the wilderness.

Runescape Pking Combat Triangle
The premise behind a combat triangle is that there are three classes of fighters in Runescape; warriors, mages, and rangers. This combat triangle has a big influence on Runescape pking. If you are a pking as a warrior you find that when fighting a mage that they will hit you very hard and very often, because in this Runescape pking combat triangle they have the advantage over the warriors. Warriors are slow and cumbersome with all their armor where as mages are light because they essentially only need robes and runes. This gives them quite a weight advantage and thus they can run for quite awhile longer, and seeing mages can range from distance this means that they can essentially run far away enough from warriors that they can mage them without getting into a melee fight, and therefore not take any damage during the fight.

Of course whilst mages may be stronger against warriors they cannot use their same advantages against rangers. Rangers usually wear dragonhide armor which gives good protection against mages spells and they also arent quite as heavy as a warriors armor so they can run for quite a bit longer which reduces the mages light weight advantage, and on top of all this they are also able to fight from distances which means that essentially the mage cant get in a position where there can deal damage without the damage being dealt to them as well. So rangers have a distinct advantage over mages in the Runescape pking, combat triangle.

hen the final side of this triangle is warriors against rangers. Warriors have heavy armor and a rangers arrows generally are not very effective against such armor whereas on the other hand rangers have armor that is lighter weight and whilst effective against mages is not good armor to be wearing against well equipped warriors with good weapons. So Runescape pking warriors deal greats amounts of damage rangers and they hit frequently.

Runescape Pking Clans or Teams
Runescape Pking can be done solo but what is far more popular is doing it as a team or with a Runescape Pking Clan. Basically this is where a group of people get together to go Pking rather than going Pking by oneself. There are many benefits to this; the biggest being that there is safety in numbers. The Runescape wilderness is quite a dangerous place and running around by oneself can lead to being killed very quickly if you are wondering in the wrong areas. There are certain areas on the wilderness that are called multi zones where more than one person can attack you at a time, and if you are walking around the wilderness by yourself and a pack of 5 people start attacking you all at once chances are you are going to struggle to survive even if you are a higher level than them (assuming of course that they are reasonably high level players). So obviously there is also the benefit of being in a group when you are in the multi zone as well because you can gang up on individual players and bring them down quite quickly.

Pking in Runescape Teams
It is also worthwhile having a good mixture of fighting styles within the group as well. So if you are going out into the wild with 8 or 9 players it is good to take 2 or so mages and 2 or so rangers. It also helps a lot if everyone has somewhat an idea of how engaging an enemy will proceed, because efficient teams are extremely effective in the wild, and building a tight team that you can trust and rely on goes a long way to becoming successful in the wilderness and at Runescape pking.

I hope you have enjoyed this brief little Runescape Pking guide, best of luck in the wild.

Moparscape Servers - Runescape Private Server Download

Moparscape Servers - Runescape Private Server Download
Well, the first question on your mind should be what are Moparscape Servers? No, they aren’t the Mopar (motor parts) made by Chrysler or any other auto company. Moparscape Servers are Private Servers which are not run by Jagex, but by players of Runescape who have created their own ‘Runescape’ Servers using Runescape as their starting base when they download moparscape. Users of private servers like Moparscape have more flexibility and game play options than on the official Runescape servers; examples given would be that users can set their levels by typing in client side commands different to every server and get them up almost instantaneously depending on the codes. You also do not need an IP or to register to play and just click ‘Start Server’ will let you get in to Moparscape Servers straight away.

Positive Aspects of Moparscape Servers
Moparscape servers serve as a haven of freedom to players who like a walk on the wild side when playing games and don’t want to be hampered by rules of game play with the fact that Moparscape itself is illegal by breaking Jagex’s copyright of Runescape. Moparscape servers also provide an alternative to Runescape players who might have been temporarily or permanently banned from their Runescape accounts but who still want to play Runescape. Private Servers like Hybridscape (which are built into Moparscape) also draw players who want to have some fun with doing weird stuff like walking through walls in Runescape, and many a player has had fun taking screenshots of themselves in Moparscape Servers with items like full dragon, and every party hat in or not in existence.

Negative Aspects of the Downloaded Moparscape Servers
Moparscape Servers are illegal as I’ve said above, since creators breach copyright laws by stealing code from Runescape to make their own servers. Jagex has often closed down such private servers by threatening creators with lawsuits from Jagex, but ten private servers also pop up with the demise of any one under different names. Moparscape also has many copycats pretending to be it when the copycats are just key loggers or malware with a false name, causing players to infect their own computers with viruses in the name of fun. You are advised not to use your real Runescape username and password, or any password that you use for sensitive information such as banking, e-mailing and working.

For more information on Moparscape servers, head over to Runescape cheating websites like sythe, eliteneo, fagex or the official Moparscape.org address to play moparscape, download moparscape or find the moparscape scripts list. You can also search on Google for where Moparscape is available on other websites

How to Hack Runescape & Runescape Accounts

How to Hack Runescape & Runescape Accounts
There are so many people these days looking to find out how to hack Runescape and more commonly how to hack Runescape accounts and Runescape passwords. I personally think this growing trend of people hacking Runescape is result of players trying to find shortcuts to becoming rich due to the fact that Runescape is a game that more than anything else requires time to excel at as there is little skill involved with Runescape other than maybe pking. So as such people are looking to find out how to hack Runescape. Unfortunately there is no way for people to be able to hack into Runescape unless they are able to find a Runescape glitch which is highly improbably unless they are actively looking for one, and considering there are millions of people playing the game the chances that you will be that one in a million to stumble upon a glitch in Runescape is slim to none. So what to people do instead of trying to hack Runescape? They spend their time focusing on how to hack Runescape accounts.

How Hackers Attempt to Hack Runescape Accounts
By far the most common way hackers, and I use this term loosely because they are not really hacking Runescape accounts at all, but they basically either make a website or create a forum post where they post something up along the lines of, just send me your Runescape password and username and I will hack Runescape and give all the items you want. Of course this is a complete load of rubbish and is just a way for them to hack your Runescape account once they have your Runescape password.

How to Avoid Having Your Runescape Account Hacked
It is pretty simple really. Never under any circumstance give your Runescape password to anyone, no matter what they promise. If you give your Runescape password out you are asking to have your items and account stolen. Next dont download any supposed Runescape hacks, more often than not they are just Trojans and key loggers that are used to hack your Runescape account.

The only way to get ahead in Runescape is to spend time playing and developing your skills and character, there are no shortcuts so if you are looking for information on how to hack Runescape accounts you really need to think is the time invested in looking for Runescape hacks that dont exist worth the time that could be spent on improving your character. I think you will find that your time will be much better spent just having fun playing rather than attempting to get your character back off some hacker that hacked your account in your attempt to find a shortcut to unlimited Runescape gold.

Free Runescape Money Making Guide

Free Runescape Money Making Guide
OK I figured that since there are already quite a few Runescape money making guides out there that are charging people to read essentially what should I feel should be free knowledge to Runescape players I felt I should write a quick, easy and free Runescape money making guide after I read one of the money making guides that people are actually charging for the other day.

Basics Tips for Making Money in Runescape
OK I will keep to the general theme of merchanting to make money in Runescape. If you dont know what merchanting is then a quick explanation is you are the middleman between buyers and sellers. How do you make money out of being the middleman? Essentially you buy low and you sell high, buy in small quantities and sell in high quantities. Why sell in high quantities? Well in a nutshell the reason you can charge a higher price for items in large quantities (assuming there is demand for large quantities of that item) is because there are people out there that would prefer to pay a bit extra for Runescape items rather than waste what can be hours looking for loads of different sellers of the item. So essentially you are making your money because youre providing people the convenience of selling in bulk. Now unfortunately much like in real life takes money to make money in Runescape with merchanting. Why? Because the basic premise of merchanting really requires you to be able to stock up on items and when your money is invested in items you cant take advantage of other good offers that might be going on, and often some items take awhile to sell, especially if you are looking for a good price and this means that your money will be tied up in these items for quite awhile and if you money is tied up that means that you ability to merchant is effective no existent. That said a good merchant really tried to merchant items that they can buy and sell quickly so that they dont get caught in this very trap.

Runescape Money Making Tips
Now when it comes to making money in Runescape via merchanting here are a few tips you could use to help make more money:

Be Patient: Wait for the right price when both buying and selling.
Keep Cash on Hand: You never know when a good deal is going to pop up out of the blue.
Calculator: You will be making lots of trades and a calculator also helps for quickly working out prices.
Poor Investments: A merchant requires money at all times so you shouldnt invest your money in personal items or long term investments unless you have enough money to continue merchanting.
Become a Member: Members of Runescape are generally more willing to pay higher prices for items because they generally get better returns from their items, so being able to sell to members and to merchant members items helps.
Start Small but Build Big: Start out with a couple of items that you are familiar with and over time build your contacts and slowly expand into other industries. When it comes to merchanting being a jack of all trades doesnt help.
Focus: When you focus on one or two industries you can build a lot more contacts in terms of buyers and sellers and you will be able to move your products faster and in higher quantities and you will make more money.
Be Firm on your Prices: You should know the high and low prices of items your trade in; stick to them, if people really want to sell or buy they will buy or sell at your price.
Free Runescape Money Making Guide Money Making Business
This is probably the most important part of this free Runescape money making guide. Now it is one thing to buy low and sell high but good deals are not always going to come your way and where you can make the real money is setting up somewhat of a Runescape business, and by this I mean rather than making one off trades with other Runescape players you should attempt to setup ongoing supply of items at the cheap prices and then you should try and build contacts with people that looking to permanently buy larger quantities of these materials. So essentially what you do is start building relationships with the players that are willing to supply you raw materials for cheap prices whilst building relationships with permanent buyers. As the old saying goes in business, its not what you know, it is who you know, this is true in Runescape money making as well. So keep in contact with your buyers and sellers, this way you can continue to make money from people that you know rather than having to seek out new deals all the time. Then with time you will build your list of contacts and names, and these become your business contacts. You should also probably keep a list of contacts that written down in a notepad as well for different buyers and sellers for different items so that you can continue to build this list of contacts and remember who buys what and at how much for so when you run out of friend spaces in Runescape you can continue to add new contacts to your business contacts list. You should keep this list in a safe place as well and try to keep it up to date and accurate because at the end of the day this will soon become an extremely valuable list of contacts, something you definitely dont want to lose or slip into the wrong hands either.

Anyway that is my brief but free Runescape money making guide on how to become a Runescape merchant I hope you enjoyed it.

RuneScape Hits a Million Buy Runescape Money

flash-based game publisher, Jagex, announced that its MMO-offering RuneScape has exceeded one million paying subscribers around the world. This number is in addition to the millions of players who play the game for free without opting to pay the subscription fee. RuneScape subscribers are charged $5 a month for additional content such as items, skills, and quests.

“Reaching the record breaking 1 million member mark is a massive milestone for RuneScape. It is a huge acknowledgment from our global gaming community that being presented with new adventures and challenges in a rapidly evolving world are what gamers want in a multiplayer online game,” said Constant Tedder of Jagex. “Development efforts have been rewarded with a steady and steep rise in player numbers. And we’re not resting on our laurels - there’s a huge amount still to come!”

MMOs Set to Grow If you’ve been avoiding jumping into the MMO pool, you may not be able to for much longer.

A report released today by media analyst Screen Digest suggests that massively multiplayer online games (MMOs) are here to stay and are going to become even more popular over the next several years. Titled “Western World MMOG Market: 2006 Review and Forecasts to 2011,” the report finds that the MMO market in North America and Europe hit one billion for the first time in 2006.

Most of the cash generated from MMOs comes from subscriptions, which account for 87 percent of the market. But new business models like in-game advertising and microtransactions are on the rise, and are expected to slice a bigger piece of the pie in the coming years. In 2006, the North American subscription market hit $576 million, and Europe rose to $299 million. Europe has seen the fastest growth over the last few years, rising from $74 million in 2004, and is expected to see the most growth over the next few, as well.

MMO publishers can follow this green staircase to the money pile.
World of Warcraft is still the most popular subscription MMO in the Western market, by far. Blizzard’s money-printing machine accounted for 54 percent of the subscription market in 2006 and generated $471 million in revenue. WoW’s next-nearest competitor is Jagex’s RuneScape, a much smaller-profile game from a boutique developer. Overall subscription revenue in the Western market in 2006 was worth $875 million.

Here’s a screenshot from the new Pac-Man MMO.
“During the past few years the Western landscape for MMOGs has become increasingly fragmented following the introduction of new genres of game including social networking, virtual pet rearing, and virtual world building title,” says Piers Harding-Rolls, Games Analyst at Screen Digest. “These new games and platforms have brought with them many new gamers and also new business models that are generating revenue that is largely incremental to the incumbent subscription business.”

By 2011, Screen Digest predicts over 10 million subscription accounts will be generating $1.5 billion in MMO revenue. Germany should maintain the largest amount of subscriptions in Europe, followed by the UK. France is set to see the strongest growth of European countries, growing 15 percent annually, with Spain and Italy both growing by 14 percent a year.

Piers Harding-Rolls says, “Growth in the market will be primarily driven by increasing broadband household penetration, increasing penetration of online console platforms, and the continued introduction of more casual MMOG experiences, which are attractive to a wide number of consumers.”
